Hwang also features talismans in combat that can be used both offensively and defensively, along with a more impactful version of his signature kicks. Gone are his green and blue getups of the past with Hwang now sporting a dark garb and cloak reminiscent of Bloodborne. Just like SetSuka, who Bandai Namco added earlier in the year, Hwang returns to the series looking quite different from his last appearance back in 2005. The addition of Hwang to SoulCalibur 6has been a long time coming, with the character not being playable for nearly 15 years, since SoulCalibur 3 on the PlayStation 2. After a few months of anticipation, Bandai Namco has announced the final addition to the season 2 roster of fighters, with the return of a classic character to its popular weapon fighter, SoulCalibur 6, coming this December.
